We are a nonprofit organization entirely dependent upon community support.
The Museum of North Carolina Handicrafts at the Historic Shelton House welcomes over 1,000 visitors annually. Our monthly operating costs and costs for preservation and restoration comes out to around $6,000. We continue to operate thanks to the generosity of sponsors, grants, and gifts from donors like you. Any and all donations are appreciated and allow us to continue operating as a cornerstone of history and heritage in Waynesville!
You can support us through volunteering on site or through monetary donations. If you are interested in participating in a community-driven historical site, please look into volunteering or donating!
