The Blue Ridge Heritage Weekend (BRHW) Arts and Crafts Fair 2025 is located 3 blocks from downtown Waynesville on the grounds of the Shelton Campus in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The campus includes the Historic Shelton House Museum of NC Handicrafts, the Carriage House Gift Shop, an AirBnB, the Shelton Barn Museum & Event Center; the Haywood Historic Farmers Market, and the prestigious HART theatre. This will be the 7th year of BRHW and is a fund raiser for the Shelton House Museum. The event is held outside and tents will be required. In addition to the juried artists and crafters, there will be demonstrators, local musicians, and food trucks. The Shelton House Museum is on the Blue Ridge Heritage Trail, Blue Ridge Craft Trail, Blue Ridge Mural trail and the Historic Quilt Block Trail. We provide drinks/refreshments and bathrooms in our Event Center for artists, crafters and volunteers throughout the event. On Saturday (9:00 am-12:00 pm) the Haywood Historic Farmers Market weekly offers local fresh farm vegetables, meats, dairy, bakery, food items and other local products on the back portion of our grounds. We will open at 9:00 on Saturday in conjunction with the Farmer's Market as they have a large following each week. HART theater is open Thur-Sat evenings and Sunday afternoons for live performances.
